12th edition of the Regional Annual Competition in Montenegro
The 12th edition of the Regional Annual Competition of the Balkan Green Ideas (BGI) competition will be organized in Montenegro. This year, the competition will gather 21 representatives from the Western Balkans and Greece, providing an opportunity for competitors to present their green ideas.
During the two days of the competition, the participants will present their creative and unique green ideas in front of the jury member to win awards of $5.000 for the Concept Green Ideas Lot and $10.000 for the Advanced Green Ideas Lot.
11th edition of the Regional Annual Competition in Thessaloniki, Greece
The 11th edition of the Regional Annual Competition of the Balkan Green Ideas (BGI) competition has been organized in Thessaloniki, Greece. This year, the competition gathered representatives from the Western Balkans and Greece, providing an opportunity for competitors to present their green ideas.
During the two days of the competition, 20 creative and unique green ideas were presented in front of the jury member, who had the challenging task of choosing five winners in total: two winners from the Concept Green Ideas Lot were awarded $5.000 and three winners from the Advanced Green Ideas Lot awarded $10.000.
10th edition of the Regional Annual Competition in Belgrade, Serbia
During the time period of 25th - 29th of October 2021, the tenth annual competition gathered 21 best national finalists from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. This edition was organized in Belgrade, Serbia, and followed the 9th annual competition that was organized online because of the COVID19 situation.
Out of 21 finalists, the winners were selected by an independent jury based on their presentations and documents provided by the teams prior to the competition. Teams competed in one of two categories of the Balkan Green Ideas. In the Green Concept Ideas Lot category, winners could secure an award of $5.000. In the Green Advanced Ideas Lot category, the awarded price amounted to $10.000.
9th edition of the Regional Annual Competition
The competition gathered 21 best national finalists from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. All national finalists competed in front of international jury, which consisted of policymakers, investors, and entrepreneurs.
During the two-day event the participants attended different educational sessions as well as pitching sessions and gala ceremonies.
The international jury selected three winning green ideas for the advanced lot and two green ideas concept lot winners. Advanced winners received awards of $10,000 each and the Concept winners received awards of $5,000 each.
8th edition of the Regional Annual Competition in Tirana, Albania
This year the competition gathered representatives from 7 countries of the Western Balkans and Greece and provided an opportunity for competitors to present their green and innovative ideas. For two days, 21 innovative, original, and unique green ideas were presented in front of the jury members who had the challenging task of choosing the four winners who were each awarded $10,000.
7th edition of the Regional Annual Competition in Mavrovo, North Macedonia
This year the competition gathered representatives from 6 countries of the Western Balkans and provided an opportunity for competitors to present their green and innovative ideas. For two days, 18 innovative, original, and unique green ideas were presented in front of the jury members who had the challenging task of choosing the three winners who were each awarded $10,000.
6th edition of the Regional Annual Competition in Kolasin, Montenegro
