The 11th edition of the Regional Annual Competition of the Balkan Green Ideas (BGI) competition has been organized in Thessaloniki, Greece. The competition gathered representatives from the Western Balkans and Greece, providing an opportunity for competitors to present their green ideas.

During the two days of the competition, 20 creative and unique green ideas were presented in front of the jury member, which selected 5 winning ideas for BGI 2022. 

Miljan Grba's idea 'Organic Recycling Yard', won the first prize for the LOT 1 - Concept Green Ideas, awarded $5.000 for the implementation of the idea. His idea aims to develop innovative methods for recycling organic waste in urban areas, turning it into a valuable resource which reduces emissions and creates a model for sustainable farming.

After the competition ended, Miljan continued to work on his farm located in the center of Podgorica, gathering in one place, from Indian ducks to California earthworms.
